Inspired Solutions sponsors United4Hope Atlantic Rowing Challenge

Rowing 3,000 Miles for Hope – Risk, Courage, and Commitment in Action

At Inspired Solutions LLC, we work daily with independent risk engineers—professionals who navigate complexity, identify risk and vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to create resilient workplaces for our clients. But sometimes, the most lifesaving risk assessments happen far from the workplace.

We are proud to sponsor one of our own associates, Eivind Helland, who will take on an extraordinary challenge: rowing across the Atlantic Ocean from the Canary Islands to the Caribbean—3,000 miles of open sea, unassisted. This journey is part of the United4Hope – Rowing Together for Hope project, supporting the Hope Social Foundation in their mission to create opportunities and dignity for people facing homelessness.

This is not just a physical feat—it’s a mental and emotional one. Like crossing an ocean in a rowing boat, effective risk engineering requires:

⚙️ Technical Expertise: Understanding systems, calculating exposures, and preparing for all scenarios—whether it’s resilience to what the ocean throws at you or disruptions in a supply chain.

🧭 Human Resilience: No model or tool can replace the value of  endurance, clearsightedness andpreparing for the unknown. These human elements are at the core of both ocean rowing and professional risk engineering.

🤝 Trust and Teamwork: Even when rowing in a small team, Eivind relies on a support network. Just like our associates collaborate with clients to chart a course through risk and uncertainty, he embodies the spirit of partnership that defines our work.

💚 Values in Action: Supporting this initiative is part of our broader ESG commitment. It reflects our belief that taking meaningful risks for a better world is not only admirable—it’s necessary. We want to champion those who push boundaries and bring hope through action.

We believe that the motivation to achieve what seems impossible is what drives innovation, fosters resilience, and inspires change—in the ocean, in society, and in business.

Please join us in cheering on Eivind and the team and supporting this cause. Let’s show that risk, when embraced for a purpose, becomes a force for good.
